    SO boring, redundant and poor acting. Hard to believe that Pricilla would allow a movie to portray herself as such a sad pathetic person. Not even to attempt to show her as a good Mother When she finally leaves him driving off to LA you want to say “you forgot your daughter “!

    the visuals were beautiful! though it was creepy how elvis wanted her at a very young age. I'm glad she chose herself at the end.

    it was aight, i never got hooked on the story. it was too choppy, so many things were going on so fast i couldn’t keep up. i really really tried to but it just never clicked. the only good thing about this film was the color pallet, the cinematography, and the production design.

There is an emotional core to Priscilla, and in Coppola’s gentle way, we’re shown a portrait of an unusual relationship, and come away with a less flattering picture of Elvis, more of the fallible human, as opposed to the music icon, frozen in time.

The dramatic height difference between the leads accomplishes a great deal of work in “Priscilla,” visually conveying the power disparity between superstar Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu, who he began wooing when she was just 14. Unfortunately, writer-director Sofia Coppola’s version of this oft-told story moves at a snail’s pace, offering fine performances but little to set one’s soul – or anything else – on fire.
