Awful!
It’s a horrific chimpanzee rampage throughout the night, but very grotesque and tragic end for Ben like Cujo with rabies. Luckily, Lucy and her family are the important thing, not survived, but being together forever
Worst movie I’ve seen in a long time. It isn’t scary, it’s freaking sad and depressing. It’s about a sick animal who needs help. Disgusting story line.

Roberts wraps his audience around his finger and then points us in the direction of gruesome, darkly humorous devilry.
Primate is often a blunt instrument, but these set pieces exude a little elegance in their sustained dread.
Sure, the jump-scares are wild; the beatings are bananas; and at a certain point, you have to laugh. But Ben deserved better than a cage so primitive and a better owner might’ve really let him run free.
