Cute but basic. It didn't stand out.
Great family film and a rare chance to be present at the start of a new potential important film studio
a how to guide on how to not distinguish yourself from your previous studio and work
It was alright. Had potential and dragged in some areas. Overall it was okay.
studio ghibil succesor studio ponoc delivers the magic its sister studio always had done
Magical
Studio Ponoc did a great job on this film 10/10 would see again. Yoshiaki Nishimura did a great job with keeping the Ghibli essence while adding his own spark.
If you love Ghibli films, you'll love this movie.
good movie. follows the rythem and style of Studio Ghibli .
Doesn't understand pacing. Not much character development. Playing it safe.
A solid movie that had an awkward first half with a slightly unlikely protagonist but was quickly redeemed in the later half. A wonderful movie for all ages.
This is a must see for avid animation fans. It's a bit on the nose, but still quite magical and full of heart.
amazing film. Looking forward to this studios future work
Very reminiscent of Studio Ghibli... most definitely recommend
a twinge of regret this was the dubbed version, but the voice talent was superb
it was cute, kinda felt a bit to close to kiki and howl moving castle. But it was still cute.
Beautiful. Such a stunning movie. Go see it.
Glad we're still getting films like this. Can't wait to see what else Studio Ponoc will do.
The movie itself was great, and I really enjoyed the interviews after the movie, but was disappointed that no one was given the souvenir gift that was supposed to be given for this premiere. Apparently, according to the manager of the theater, whom I spoke with afterwards, the studio never sent the theater the souvenirs. Other than that disappointment, I really enjoyed my time, and hope that the studio does a better job of distribution of the promotional memorabilia and souvenirs for future premiere events.
Amc 24 at sunset place miami did nothing expected from this premiere, wrong movie, no collectibles and no extras. Very dissapointed with Amc.
Really cute. Loved it but plot felt rushed not that the pacing was off or bad just that there felt like there was more info n story to convey than run time allowed for. Again loved it lots.
The first time trying to watch it, the projector was broken, so I had to get tickets to a different screening that was sadly dubbed instead of subbed. The movie was amazing!!! definitely worth seeing.
Wonderful film. Ghibli notes all around.
Beautiful animation. A great start for Studio Ponoc!
it was just beautiful 🌸 would watch it 100 times more!!!
So good! Would watch it 10 more time today if I could. 420/69
Artwork of the movie was amazing. However the movie lacked decent character development and there seems to be some holes in the plot. Looks like the Ghibli writers were missing in Ponac’s debut :(
Very well done Studio Ponoc!! I look forward to many more adventures!!!
I couldn't love it anymore then I already do!
It wasn't that great. a lot of scenes from other ghibli films put together into one movie...
This experience was considered to be the greatest night of my life. I wish to enjoy this movie over and over again. Timeless film that Studio Ponoc has to offer.
Really love this movie !!!
It’s a lovely movie, but as soon as you get hyped for magic - they make it null and void. :(
it was an absolutely wonderful evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
love this studios films!
The art was very beautiful but it felt like a mix of several studio ghibli movies in one. Also, it got slow or predictable in certain parts.
It was a cute movie. Not sure if it measures up to past Gibli movies, but loads of fun especially for young kids.
Beatifully animated and charming. Just the characters lacked a little for my liking. But all in all good film
I liked the art, and the story was interesting, but felt slow & a tad predictable.
👌
Tib was the true star of the movie. 😺
Animation was great but instead of feeling like a tribute to Ghibli it felt like they stole bits from the whole catalog. The story was full of holes. Things would just happen without any explanation as to why.
So good I want to see it again with my family.
too many loose ends
lots of room for plot and character development, left me asking many questions in a bad way
A lot of story issues. just how it was told. almost direct parallels to Miyazaki movies.
the best anime movie I've ever seen in my entire life
The movie was great. It satisfied my expectation.
Nice ride but same as ghibli films
Unfortunately the movie ran halfway without subtitles and the subtitle version was restarted past 9. I wish the theatre had stopped the movie.
