The movie was a bit disappointing due to the fact that I came in with the intentions of this movie being like origins but oh well that’s my fault

It was good, but it tried too hard to be like the first movie and series but with different characters and a similar story.

with a few things changed here and there the story held up very close to the anime. great nostalgic movie. at times i almost cried just for the pure nostalgia and watching a Pokemon movie back in the theatre. best movie since Pokemon Spell of the Unown.

I saw this with my brother and my daughter. My brother and I grew up watching Pokémon. It was nice to see a great reimagining of the original story. Also amazing to have my daughter experience essentially what we went through as kids. I would highly recommend. Was not let done one bit!

A great film for those of us who grew up with this franchise and those just getting into it. Plenty of nostalgic call backs to the original while giving us new story. And plenty of sad moments too.

Another fun Pokemon movie!

Story is a bit rushed but it's a nice "turn-left-instead-of-right" story. Really freaking weird but towards the end of the climax left without explanation but the film had me feeling like a kid again throughout. Probably will buy.

Had a blast at the movie. When Pikachu talks I kinda went.. What just happened. Overall it was a fun blast from the past with new Pokémon as well.
