Jana likedPicnic at Hanging RockHard to rate. This is not a movie I would want to watch over and over again. It was chilling and eerie, I fully understand why it is so much talked about in film studies. Even though the open ending is frustrating, it preserves this deep sense of mystery and unease.
Jacob Hall is "meh" onPicnic at Hanging RockSome cool cinematography and an unsettling score, but overall the film is boring. It gets to a point where you lose interest in finding out what happened to the girls. There's also entire character arcs that are started but never explored.
