Almodovar’s 8 1/2. It’s a biography work made during a period of creative crisis. He gives a bittersweet look back at his career and memories: it explores aging and the power of memories. Banderas gives one of his greatest performances.
Jacob Hall lovedPain and GloryBeautiful dialogue with great acting from Banderas and even the child actor. The love story segment was so heartwarming. Almodovar is up there with the greats in terms of dialogue.
