I know that horror is subjective and what may be scary to one person may not be scary to another but for the first time in easily a decade, this film shook me to the core and genuinely terrified me. Seriously super creepy!

Great movie. Started out as if it was going to be corny regarding the typical plot but I was glad I was proven wrong. It was a great, creepy, scary movie.

I was totally obsessed!
Obsession drags you through the entire film being creepy and unsettling the entire time. A handful of powerful jump scares deliver and the movie even still manages to sprinkle humor here and there.

Obsession should and will put Barker on the map as a horror filmmaker you need to watch. Thanks to fantastic turns by Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, you'll be addicted to this sour Valentine's Day counterprogramming.
Obsession is satisfyingly slick proof that [Barker] knows just what to do when levelling up to a different platform, and while his debut might have been a film designed around a very modern form of horror, this time he’s looking back, his set-up using elements of a classic fable and the kind of grabby schlock you’d see in a video store back in the 1980s.
Obsession should keep everyone awake long after they get home from seeing it.
