this movie is just like george clooney gets hit in the face with a branch: [sad folk music] high elves appear: [mystical folk music] kkk member gets obliterated: [upbeat folk music] cow on a roof: [melancholic folk music]

Everything about this movie comes together perfectly: the script, acting, music, story… everything. A true masterpiece by the Coen Bros. I could rewatch this all day. Just solid in every way.
- Feel good movie - Funny - My parents watched this a lot when I was little, so nostalgic - Not a fan of the misogyny and writing of female characters
I was seriously surprised that not many people know about this movie! Second surprise came in when I realized how underrated it is! This is one of the easiest “loves” in this app and I think that everyone should try it! Music, acting, directing goes together just so well. A must!

this is my first time watching the movie, I loved it, the plot was fun to follow, the characters were well developed, acted and funny, but I personally think the ending could have been better. it felt like it was just a sort of "fade to black" ending, but there was resolution.
No matter what life is giving you, just keep smiling and follow along. Basically every scene says that and after the film you will feel better about life and its tricks. Good cast, some good comedic elements, incredible music just incredible ❤️

Just a great and funny film with a good cast. The story was a very entertaining one and I really didn’t know how the film would end. Also George Nelson was a wholesome character that stole every scene he was in.
The klan meeting really caught me off guard i ain’t gone hold you 💀 but other than that i surprisingly really enjoyed this movie it’s not my typically go to at all! also kinda love the soundtrack 🙊 8/10

For all its originality, O Brother doesn't seem to have a point, or enough spark to distract us from the lack thereof.
A remarkable film. From its performances on down to director of photography Roger Deakins' sun-baked, dirty-ochre cinematography, the film is all of a piece.
For all its ambitions, though, the Coens' odyssey is a scattershot affair with too many tricks and twists for its own good.
