Everybody Needs To See This ….
Based on real events Rami Malek & Russell Crowe are both fantastic, and should be nominated for an Oscar. This film is incredible and is a must see for any WWII era film buff.
A truly fantastic movie that makes you think about how the other side truly thinks and feels.

An excellent film with powerful story telling. This kind of story doesn’t leave you happy but like Schindler’s List or Miracle at St Anne, you don’t watch because it’s happy but because it’s an important part of our shared human history.
My husband and I both love this movie. The acting was superb and it was based on a true story I have never heard. I really highly recommend it especially what’s going on in our country right now . There’s a lot of parallels.

the visuals left along to be desired in the sense of It didn't feel real. the cards were too shiny no one had dirt on them all the prisoners looked healthy just little nitpicky things but the acting was great and man did Russell crowe do a good job at making me hate him

Russell Crowe is rather wittily cast as the portly, pompous Reichsmarschall Göring; it’s the best he’s been for a long time, a sly and cunning manipulator playing psychological cat-and-mouse with the Americans. But there is a deeply silly performance from Rami Malek as Kelley.
Not enough can be said for how strong [Crowe] is in this film, and how welcome it is every time he appears on screen. He seems able to read people. He also seems German, complete with German gestures.
Vanderbilt’s film slowly, confidently morphs into something beyond a cautionary tale and more like a klaxon blaring through the cinema.
