only a sociopath who studied business online would name a company anything as generic as 'video production news'

One of the hardest movies to grade. On the one hand, this movie is unique and raw, with a superb acting performance by Jake Gyllenhaal; on the other hand, it’s a tough watch with a very abrupt ending. Definitely not a must see, but I’ll be thinking about this movie for a while
Danial lovedNightcrawlerJake Gyllenhaal is perfect in all his roles in any movie, so what can we expect other than greatness, a magnificence movie that I recommend. 8.5/10

Brenden Schmidt lovedNightcrawler8.7/10 One of my favorite movies ever because of Jake G. Such an underrated actor and kills every role I’ve seen him in. The writing and acting for this movie were phenomenal. I’ve seen it about 3 or 4 times so of course I’d recommend it to anyone that enjoys a great thriller.
Miguel Sanchez likedNightcrawlerA great thriller that showcases how a actor like Jake gyllenhaal is considered a all time great ( I was awake the whole movie😊)

Watching the Lous psychotic genius was breathtaking. The way he worked the system to benefit him was crazy. The story was amazing, acting was the best I’ve seen in a while, and the shots were as good as Lou’s in the movie. This movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole movie.
Emma dislikedNightcrawlerI think its a “good” movie, but its just not something I enjoyed, its very gritty/dark/disturbing
McLovin lovedNightcrawlerI love this movie, and I was no joke laughing at the end because of his behavior

Thirty pounds lighter, all cheekbones and bulging eyes, Gyllenhaal plays one of the year's most memorable characters in this dark, provocative drama.

Nightcrawler curves and hisses its way into your head with demonic skill. When the laughs come, they stick in your throat. This is a deliciously twisted piece of work. And Gyllenhaal, coiled and ready to spring, is scarily brilliant. He truly is a monster for our time.

It’s a pleasure to see Russo back on screen (she’s married to Gilroy). But Nina’s eager complicity is far too easy and every social critique flashes as bright as the neon guiding Lou around back-alley L.A.
