veronicaDec 29, 2020its a really good movie if you read it as a story about two gay men adopting a daughter (in this sense, even better than Asquith's Pygmalion with Pickering being so heavily gay 'coded' in this) but. i cannot review this without stating that the decision to dub jeremy…

Oh my gosh do I hate the ending to this movie holy cow do I hate the ending to this movie
despite being lengthy, i actually quite enjoyed it!! i love how thoroughly detailed this film was, it’s so rich in color and details in which i truly admire myself. love the plot, love eliza, and i also love Freddie lol. Audrey’s acting was top tier too! especially in the start!

Best Picture Oscar winner 1965 (37th Academy Awards) My Rating: 8.5/10 Nominated for 12 Oscar’s and won 8. Costumes are A+ in the film and some of the best songs from a musical. It’s crazy that Audrey Hepburn wasn’t nominated when everyone else was 🫣
I would’ve loved this movie. It was beautiful and omg the dresses (‼️) but knowing what I know about the original play “Pygmalion” the ending really grinds my gears. I think it’s time for a new adaption where Eliza doesn’t come back. Sorry to the stans

preciosa, graciosa y con un argumento increíble. mi única queja es el final de Eliza, que merecía muchísimo más que el profesor que siempre la trató como si fuera menos que él. la última frase lo dice todo.
It wasn't what I was thinking but still bloody brilliant. loved the theatre type feel. made it feel very warm. I'm not a fan of the songs in it. seemed a little boring.
