saw this on a school trip and I decided to buy a giant scoop of mint chip ice cream before watching…so I was more focused on making sure it didn’t spill rather than the actual movie. I also took the most phenomenal nap at the end. I can’t believe this was my first imax…

Aside from one or two moments, I have to wonder why they bothered doing this in 3-D. I did enjoy Christopher Lee's narration though.

This IMAX doc contains: 10% mummies 10% sand dunes 10% the best 3D popout effect ever 70% historical reenactments of Ancient Egypt with silent actors in terrible costumes The main thing I learned from it is that Ancient Egyptians walked very slowly. The Bangles…

I watched at a school trip and thought it was interesting with the visuals and narration! I didn’t like how they kind of excused the grave robbing that egyptologists did and praised the pharaohs while they used cruel slave labor

I can see why this was made for 3d. Clearly, the Earth getting in my face helped me see where Egypt was, and the soul devouring crocodile becoming cgi and eating ME had to get the point across, and the fly circling the screen for half that time helped me be aware. Almost…
