"Hey pretty girl, time to wake up." There was a time not too long ago when if you asked me what my favorite movie was I might have told you Mulholland Drive. There's a lot going on in the film and I certainly won't claim to understand all of it (something I might have done…

"It's all recorded. It is all a tape. It is an illusion." Believing in fiction because reality is so painful. The tragic actress mirrored inverse of the male fantasy LA noir nightmare of Lost Highway. One just as much conversation with Lynch’s lifelong affinity for classic…

9.7/10 this film really does its best to make you question whether you are actually seeing a good movie or not several times near the beginning and not until far later do we learn that this is by design - the movie is full of incredible twists and turns that really force you to think hard about…

9/10 David Lynch’s commentary on the dark side of Hollywood is a surreal and captivating experience. The mysteries and symbolism in this movie are so intriguing and kept me thinking throughout. The final part of the film really brings everything together in such a masterful way.
I absolutely love this movie. every time I watch it, it feels like slipping into a dream I don’t want to wake up from. The visuals are hauntingly beautiful, capturing both the glamour & darkness of Hollywood. The story is layered and surreal, pulling me deeper with every scene

I’ve been researching Lynchs films because of the dreamyness and liminal spaces as they relate to my art. I think this movie is great and it’s so captivating but I’m honestly so confused, I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve missed something in the film or I’m just thick 😂
Yo despues de verla 😐😑😐 When no entiendes la relacion entre las historias e intentas buscarla y el dilema no esta ahi. Es pa verla dos veces una sin saber na y otra despues de entenderlo

Mulholland Drive is a haunting, selfish masterpiece that literalizes the theory of surrealism as perpetual dream state.
A bone fide masterpiece. An erotic, deeply unsettling, darkly comic journey through the subconscious city of night.
Alluring and unnerving, Lynch’s horror-show reminds us how much cinema misses him. Watts is electric, too.
