    Heart-wrenching! I enjoyed this film because it was shot well, I enjoyed seeing the family’s culture, the colors were rich and vibrant, the cast gave powerful performances, they took their time telling the story, and they did a good job getting you invested in the story.

    An emotional and heartbreaking depiction of a broken up family as the result of a faulty and discriminatory welfare system for children. Rani’s performance is absolutely amazing. Truly a needed look into a faulty system through the eyes of a determined mother.

    Such a powerful story about the endurance of a mother’s love. Rani gives a brilliant performance in a role only she could play. Even crazier to think this is based on a true story. Loved all of the Bengali culture showcased!
