i truly believe that nicole kidman rolling around on the floor wrapped in a fur blanket and pretending to be getting off on poetry is why cinema was invented
scoobert doo (aka mo)May 2, 2019sometimes i lie awake at night thinking about how if mr. brightside had come out just 2 years earlier it would’ve fit perfectly for ewan’s envious rage scenes. no shade to tango roxanne, you rule, but can you IMAGINE an over dramatic vaudevillian rendition of mr.…

ngl this made me hopelessly desperate to find my own christian ( hopefully not with this ending i kid you not i’m sobbing rn )
Moulin Rouge is a tour de force of artifice, a dazzling pastiche of musical and visual elements at the service of a blatantly artificial story that helps the viewers immediately spot and embrace what the bohemian love so much: truth, beauty, and, above all, love.

Incredible movie. I am not someone who loves loves stories, but there was something about this one… the whole movie had something enchanting about it, I just couldn’t pull my eyes away. Everything, until the very end was beautiful and El Tango De Roxanne is such a wonderful song.

By no means one of my favorite musicals and I am usually not a massive fan of them expect when they are done right. Of all musicals I have seen i have enjoyed three. But it was decent but some of the musical acts felt out of place and it was also a very weird and crazy film.
This is not my favorite production of Moulin Rouge. I don’t think Ewan McGregor was the right choice for Christian but all in all a entertaining enough movie.
