this is by far my favorite movie of all time. the things I felt the first time I watched are inexplicable. I wish I could watch this movie for the first time again. the baby scene made me nauseous for a couple of minutes. this movie's a 10/10 without hesitation.

There’s no satisfaction in watching this, no hope, no genuine connection to the characters, had high expectations & was let down.

What is less certain is whether the breadcrumbs that are available to the viewer the first time through mother! will be satisfying enough for them to do more than run a quick Google search to provide some answers.
