Moviegoers are saying
Monster Mia emerges as a charming, if unremarkable, animated film that divides audiences between those enchanted by its Spider-Verse-inspired visuals and Hotel Transylvania vibes, and others who find it instantly forgettable. While critics praise its neurodivergent representation and stunning gothic set pieces, many note its familiar storytelling and underdeveloped supporting cast hold it back from greatness.

It’s nothing groundbreaking on the themes it explores, but it’s a solid movie and it’s sweet. Someone else likened this film to a mix of Hotel Transylvania and The Owl House and I agree :-) If that’s your vibe, you’ll enjoy it! Definitely is aimed at younger audiences,…
