Everyone’s gangster until the scene where Santa speaks sign language with the little girl 🤧😭
What I love about this movie is that it equates the existence of god to the existence of Santa Claus.
cut the cameras.... deadass.... the softest movie in the entire world and movies like these make me a christmas warrior
Studio exec: you've compared Santa Claus to Jesus three times in this script already. John Hughes: and I'll do it again!
does this mum just leave her kid to be babysat by every weirdo man she comes across
richard attenborough is santa clause i don't make the rules
It's not Christmas under capitalism unless the sappy sentimentality saves our favorite department store from being bought out by its evil rival. This might be a repulsive example of American ideology, but that doesn't stop me from watching it (and loving it) with my family…
I want a new house, a dad and a baby brother or I won't believe in Santa Clause....what a greedy, blackmailing kid!
Generally a lot less successful than the ’47 version, but one scene stands out as a clear improvement over the original: Instead of Kris Kringle speaking Dutch to a recently transplanted immigrant (and beginning to convince Susan he may be the real Santa), he speaks sign…
cute movie but the guy ruined it, wtf is wrong with him? After one date (he had to beg her for) not even proposing, but literally having her open the ring herself and then having the audacity to be offended she declined, at the end Santa basically pressures her into marrying him
Scrap what I said about ‘Fred Claus’ being connected to Tim Allen’s ‘The Santa Clause’ because it doesn’t actually make sense BUT It makes sense here. Kris Kringle is Santa Claus, just like how Scott Calvin is Santa Claus. Both movies came out the same year. Yes I know this is a remake of an…
I enjoy this version better than the original. They cover some aspects of the adult relationships the older version barely leaned into. Having faith and believing is being open to their possibility. Great cast, heart warming and a seasonal classic. Would recommend for your holiday viewing. 🎅
This was lovely. I loved that the little girl overruled all the adult men in the end, little kids rule! It’s clear that those men should keep their hands off of our traditions and what we believe in. Loved this. Which there was more storyline. of the kid though. 4.5 out of 5 star
Really good Christmas movie. Unfortunately I haven’t seen the original. All around a good family film and COMPLETELY carried by Richard Attenborough, this doesn’t mean the rest is bad, his performance is just unbelievable. A feel-good the whole way through with great characters.
Might just be THE Christmas movie🎄 I enjoyed every single second of it. It was so warm, so magical and the plot was really good. I wish my parents would have shown me this film when I was a child 🙏🏼🥹🎄 also the cast is SO FINE LIKE DAMNNNN 😩 RECOMMEENDD 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Good movie. The idea of Santa Clause in this movie is weird though. Does he or does he not exist? It is very confusing but still an enjoyable movie. The mom did not deserve the lawyer guy though. He was too kind for her.
Amei muito esse filme! Super bem feito, personages super fofos, que tem um pingo de romance e a vibe de natal e incrível. A narrativa e super boa e te faz ficar de coração quentinho, vale muito a pena.
I actually prefer this one over the original! I liked the court scene in the first one tho…because I just like the whole post office bit. The romance is really good in this one.
