I like that there's a whole little side plot about how good Tom Cruise can run and how his son wants to learn to run like him.

most nutso looking spielberg film i can think of off the top of my head. layers and layers of glass and screens behind grainy overblown lights, all built with the intent of creating a more transparent and visible society but is really just disorienting, reflective, and…

BriannaFeb 13, 2021ok so this is a classic case of thinking in 2054 we’d still have radioshacks
nicole silverbergJan 24, 2015Steven Spielberg's been so good for so long we take him for granted. This one more than holds up as one of his very best -- and one of Cruise's best as well. I think it might be his best performance.

This movie needs to be seen by any sci fi and or crime lover …. I’ll be incredibly honest - this movie towards the end had me in the feels… when it came out 21 years ago i was too young to appreciate it- I’m glad i gave it a second chance- adding it to the collection
How am I just now seeing this?? Banger, story/premise is awesome. Swing and a miss with the futuristic stuff, half was future/half was regular 2002 didn’t like it and the futuristic CGI was horrendous. TC was awesome per usual. Great twist and shock at the end

Very interesting concept set in the future. Being a Criminal Justice major it made me see it becoming a possibility in the future.
8/10 - Great film, really liked it. At some points it’s a bit slow and lacks rhythm, but other than that it’s great. The concept is really fascinating and fits the sci-fi genre perfectly. No Spielberg film is bad. Can’t complain with the John Williams score either. Tom is great.

Really great flick. Fascinating story and concepts, gripping twists and turns. Redemptive ending too. Rewatch notes in comments.
I would have never guessed Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell and Steven Spielberg. Now that I've seen it, it makes so much sense. It's got the comedic and emotional brilliance that every Spielberg has. Adults would like this a lot more than kids would for sure. It gets really dark and insanely depressing.…
This film had the perfect blend of action, adventure, sci-fi, mystery, and suspense. The cast is perfect with Cruise at the helm. Spielberg proves just how astonishing of a director he is with an entertaining story and great visuals. It’s a movie that I will enjoy always. 10/10!!
