imagine this movie being remade in 2100 or something, the owen wilson of the future would hella go to future paris, run into a white peugeot 207 in midnight, go back in time to 2019, meet beyoncé and be like "beyoncé?!"
mariaHow many movies does Rachel McAdams play in that she dating/married to a time traveler?
ElizavetaFeb 17, 2021Great concept, but didn't quite come together Also why is Starry Night used on the poster when Vincent isn't referenced in the movie?

can woody allen stop jerking off to himself long enough to write a script that doesn't sound like bad fan fiction written by a 15 year old
isaacFeb 17, 2019Owen Wilson: Wow Me: 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
RubenJul 6, 2021tom hiddleston did not have enough screen time but i guess this is what loki and mobius were doing before the TVA found them

Sehr sehr schöner Film :,) Die Art und Weise wie Paris dargestellt wurde und die verschiedenen Epochen war irgendwie magisch. Der Film in einem Wort: Nostalgie. Wunderschön einfach

This film adds profound uniqueness and complexity to the familiar narrative of a misunderstood protagonist. It deeply explores the passions, dreams, and appreciations of its main character in stark contrast to the shallow people in his life and the expectations they have for him.

Allen brings his fantasy to life with such affection and joy that he transports us into his dream come true as a shared fantasy. A blithe, lovable comedy about those greener pastures of yesteryear when times were simpler and seemingly carefree, at least in our imagination.
If you're a bookworm like me, you'll love this movie. It has an amazing cast, amazing writing, and an amazing story, with many thought-provoking scenes thrown in.

But lo! Isn't that Owen Wilson, blond and goyische to the gills, yet faithfully replicating the put-upon slump of the Allen shoulders, the quavering stammers about art vs. success, literature vs. Hollywood?
The best Allen movie in 10 years, or maybe even close to 20 - is all about that idea: Reckoning with the past as a real place, but also worrying about the limits of nostalgia.
This supernatural comedy isn't just Allen's best film in more than a decade; it's the only one that manages to rise above its tidy parable structure and be easy, graceful, and glancingly funny, as if buoyed by its befuddled hero's enchantment.
