If you want to waste 2hrs & 30 minutes of your life, go see this film. Adam Driver's acting is great, but the entire film is a disaster. What the heck did my eyeballs just witness!? This film is so absurd. I will definitely never watch it again. One time was enough.

This was an artful masterpiece from the Maestro Coppola. It's a very conceptual film, and unfortunately, and understandably, it won't be comprehended by the vast majority that came to be entertained. 🤷‍♂️

The writer had way too many ideas in his head and to free himself of the thoughts he put alllllll of those thoughts into this movie. It was all over the place. No direction!! Storyline where? I want a refund on my free tickets. That movie owes me for the hour I gave it. Terrible!!!!!

I tried to give this movie a chance. I powered through to the end. There are a few moments that tickled me but it was too busy to focus.

Think of Idiocracy meets with the politics that we have today and BOOM!

Loved it , there is a sense of in the know. And IYKYK kind or spec-tic, it’s the possibility of the positive energy of being and surviving. And not submitting to what is but of what it can become of what you make ur destiny to be. It’s in the eye of the beholder. !!

The key is in the title: "A FABLE." This story, its characters, words, and scenarios, are NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY. If you remember this, you can enjoy it. If not, well, I hope you at least tried

This movie was too long with an unclear storyline. It needed to be edited. I almost walked out as it dragged on and on. There was unnecessary nudity, girl's tonguiing each other, and glorifying of alcohol and drug use. You know the the usual Hollywood propaganda. Do not waste your money on this movie.

Slow build up, good conceptual idea and messages, pacing at the end felt better.

What did I just watch? People left in the middle of the movie and we were all falling asleep. It was a whole lot of work for nothing. I thought all the big names would have made it a great movie but no chance. Definitely didn’t need it to be 2.5 hours, I mean what did the before edit look like? I kept checking the time because I was ready for it to end. Yikes

Don’t bother if you’re not high on LSD. Coppola finally outdid himself - greater disappointment than Godfather III. Very high budget film and no attachment to any characters or story. Coppola is trying too hard. This is what you would get if Christopher Nolan was smoking crack.

This was so bad we ended up walking out after almost 2 hours. 2 other people walked out as well. I was trying to give it a chance because of the cast but this was such a bad movie...

Waste of production money. Luckily, it was free and the theater seats were so relaxing and comfortable.

This is the worst movie that I've watched.Boring ,the story is all over the place,no direction whatsoever.Please dont watch it,you'll regret wastin ur time and money.If I can give zero stars,I would but theres no option to do so.

Great cast and high production quality but wow was this long. Varied between too nuanced and not nuanced enough. Heavier hand during editing would have been really helpful.

Great cast that was somehow misused by Copola for what must be his final hurrah. I compared it to the old Rat Pack movies of getting a bunch of big screen names together so some money could be made and fun had by all except the audience that had to endure it.

This was a visual masterpiece. Not many will fully grasp the nature of this film and it's subtle ties to real life scenarios. Most people want simple movies with a conceptual plot, and a simplistic story. Sure you might have to watch this a couple of times to appreciate it. This movie is like art nobody will appreciate it until it wins an award or someone important thinks it's amazing. Think Monet, Van Gough, etc. For you gamers, let's play a rousing game of Would You Rather.... I'll go first.... Would you rather watch Megalopolis or watch Joker : Folie a Deux.. enough said.

Megalopolis is a misfire from the start.
