Certainly the only story whose happy ending is predicated on staying in Missouri.

Features a Judy Garland cover of Sue Sylvesters glee hit- “the trolley song”.
I’m actually so mad that I haven’t seen this sooner. An absolute legend of a movie that must be watched at least once a year I do declare! A beautiful, hilarious, and heartfelt tale that would prob be canceled 4 mmnts today but I like to think it’s a classic bop for everyone 🎡🌂👒

It was such a natural watch, I felt like I was sitting with them in their own living room. Though the Halloween plot felt like an episode of tom and jerry since it came out of nowhere but overall a fun movie with amazing visuals and fantastic vocals! 7/10
This is a classic that I love. There is something about old movies, especially with Judy Garland. It somehow takes you back to a place you’ve never been and the music in it warms you. I watch this very year and it never gets old

I’m so surprised I haven’t seen it before. I loved it so much. Amazing songs plus so funny! “Oh John I don’t hate you, I just hate basketball”
it was super pretty and the music was great but why was the plot literally just “we’re gonna move to New York” “nevermind”

Hollywood's great holiday musical is this sparkling adaptation of writer Sally Benson's memoir: a movie that takes us on a Currier and Ives 1903 holiday tour of St. Louis with the postcard-perfect Smith family. [08 Jan 2004, p.N1]
Judy Garland's most famous role and her best performance make for entertaining viewing.
Underneath its sometimes frothy and often witty trappings, it’s a wistful meditation on the inevitable losses that accompany growing up and moving on. The real mood is captured perfectly in Judy Garland’s bittersweet rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. [16 Dec 2012]
