Synopsis

The continuation of Hiphop Tamizha Adhi's semi-biopic Meesaya Murukku (2017), which consists of the journey of starting his own band called "Hip-Hop Tamizha."
Moviegoers are saying
Hip Hop Aadhi's spiritual sequel delivers infectious energy through its Gen Z vibe and mass BGM-gaana songs, but gets weighed down by heavy-handed messaging about Kollywood nepotism. While the second half and emotional beats land well, audiences feel the film loses focus by prioritizing industry commentary over storytelling.

Bro whines throughout the film about using talent properly and respecting it but uses great talent like Manikandan as a background junior artist. Even Ken Karunas gave him a better role. (Also harshath khan pundamavaney sirippu varalana kuda paravala ericha mayiru vara…

Given how my heart beats for underdog narratives and anti-system stories, it’s so hard not to praise Meesaya Murukku 2. This is, after all, a film about people trying to get through a door that generations of powerful people have guarded. Talent isn’t enough here.…
