adamboltAug 20, 2020When I grew up reading Spider-Man comics I really related to the parts where Peter Parker got handed state-of-the-art tech to beat up working-class laborers that were screwed over by his billionaire mentor. Fond memories of Devin Faraci saying Michael Keaton was a Bernie…

Still learning the “With Great Power…” lesson and still being molded into who he will become. The Stark connection was a bit too much. Favorites: Quote: What the F-! Character: Peter Parker obviously Moment: Driving to the dance with Toombs Rating: 9/10

Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman❤️ I miss this time in the MCU it was peak. Tom Holland plays a teen Peter Parker so genuinely. Peter is trying so much to prove himself. Meanwhile struggles to balance being a hero and a normal student. Michael Keaton is underrated as The Vulture🔥
Branden Garcia lovedSpider-Man: HomecomingTom is such a good Spider-Man. I think I like him more than Tobey’s, that’s just imo. Vulture is always a good villain for Spider-Man, and casting Micheal Keaton for it was a great choice. his suit was super cool too. I hate what the did in Morbius though. it makes no sense smh 🙄
Kalia likedSpider-Man: HomecomingLOVEEE TOM’S SPIDERMAN!!! The acting in this movie was off the charts, but personally i do prefer his performances in the other movies. He’s definitely grown so much in his acting since this one, and i respect him so much for that.

A fun, light, and super charming take on Spidey. Tom Holland feels like a real teenager just trying to balance school and superhero life. The action’s cool, the humor works, and the movie has a really fun, friendly vibe. 8/10❤️
Will Reddington lovedSpider-Man: HomecomingTom Holland is so perfect for this. Keaton great villain. I’ve always really enjoyed the Tony Stark moments of this movie. “If you’re nothing without the suit, then you shouldn’t have it.”
Thebluemonkey69 lovedSpider-Man: HomecomingA good fun movie highly nostalgic good pacing good plot it’s just an overall an easy fun solid movie the only great thing is vulture aside from that it’s a base line good movie 9.1/10

Against considerable odds, Spider-Man: Homecoming finds its pace and rhythm by the end. Not only did figuring out how to become an effective Spider-Man require more of a learning curve than Parker anticipates, figuring out how to make a successful superhero movie mandated one for the filmmakers as well.

The film, for much of the first two acts, takes itself just about that unseriously, maintaining a jokey, self-aware tone that is nicely evocative of the original comics.

Tom Holland masterfully channels Peter’s teenage angst, which could easily come off as melodramatic or superficial, and infuses it with respect. Watts’s artful work makes you realize how often we don’t take teenagers’ anxieties, joys, and fears seriously. Peter’s life in Homecoming is a frustrating, jagged journey toward figuring out what kind of person he is.
