It's 2 hours of Liam Neeson asking if this person knows that person.
Lydianne BissonMar 15, 2023the kind of movie to put on while cleaning your room because you are incapable of accomplishing anything in silence on a completely unrelated note, my room has never been cleaner
reibureibuFeb 14, 2023a prime example of how a deeply mediocre script can be elevated by a director who actually knows how to move the camera. beautiful, winding, ultimately disposable, eminently pleasant. i can't tell if neeson is asleep at the wheel here or if he's always been an actor who…

Grandpa got drunk again and was reenacting Chinatown but ended up with something closer to cutscenes from L.A. Noire. Pretty shameless, hollow pastiche work that's barely even doing anything that resembles the title character (should've called it Spade or Gittes), and…
Josh LewisNov 17, 2022Two stars for Alan Cumming’s line, “Tarantulas. I am entirely composed of tarantulas”, and half a star for the audacity of filming Los Angeles in Dublin.
Andy HazelFeb 14, 2023If there's one thing Liam Neeson is going to do it is be Liam Neeson, but with a cool hat this time.

spryan328Feb 15, 2023*Marlowe: Is that Lynn with an X? *Me: So, she’d be Lynx? This is a talking heads colourful film noir moving through Angeleno and Mexican** scenes with lush and luxurious cinematography and vintage set designs. It might be quality gumshoe work, but you need to be an active…
Lynn BettsMar 29, 2023Fancy a nap? Put this movie on, it’ll send you right to sleep. Seriously stunned to see such an impressive cast all deliver some of their most lacklustre and boring work to date. The clothes, the locations and overall look of things is glorious, it feels like a film from…

It is sold as an action movie, so that's what you expect, specially w/Neeson in the cast, however the action scenes are few & far between. It is slow paced, but properly done. There's some (bad) weird relationship between the mum & daughter. The main "antagonist" disappears...
Very slow pacing is what I really didn’t like about this movie. I got really bored with this midway though the 2nd act. Easily predictable movie for me

I really wanted to like it. Great setting, beautiful noir feel, solid casting and the story moved along. But ultimately didn’t pay off.
Just doesn’t offer much. I like the atmosphere and the acting is okay, but the script and pacing don’t do it for me.

Very poor movie
BDBeth DerrickTerrible excuse of a story line, no plot, terrible all around. Do not recommend.
QHQuentin HallNothing truly interesting carried the movie

The first movie I ever walked out of. The main problems are the undeveloped characters and poorly unfolded "mystery." Actors yammer on in monotones and motives are not clear. Why, Neil Jordan, why?
