I had only scene a clip of the game show sequence with Alexa dempse (?) and so watching Andrew Garfield go nuts was train wreck that felt very uncomfy. The charisma of the actors carried this film and personally I liked the editing🤷♀️

Like the criticism in the movie and how it is put together and Andrew Garfield’s acting is incredible. The characters are a bit bland and their actions are predictable. Didn’t like the editing type but I get it. Again, it’s worth watching thanks to Andrew Garfield interpretation.
elisa lovedMainstreami didn’t expect it to be that profound. i can’t really pinpoint what’s the message of this film tho. is it about being true to ourselves and not care about what others think? i feel like what the main character says and does are opposite which might be why i can’t pinpoint it.

i don’t even know where to begin, you just have to watch it. Andrew Garfield was not only phenomenal but pushed himself even further to perfect his character. And don’t even get me started on Maya Hawke, love seeing her grow she looked so much like her mom
Lorna is "meh" onMainstreamThis film had an interesting message but the story was predictable and a bit dull. Andrew Garfield was great (even though he kept switching between English and American accents 😅). Ending was good.

Indeed, the strangest thing about Mainstream (and it is a strange, strange film) is just how out of touch it feels. Granted, if it were easy to make a viral video we would all be doing it; yet what Coppola and her team have come up with is just so lame and off the mark and nauseatingly self-satisfied.
