Ok, so…I get that this was a movie about male strippers…but I still wasn’t expecting to see so many…bootycheeks…wow. But the movie was cool I guess, but I feel like I would’ve been mad if I saw this in theaters with the ending it had lol, felt like the ending could have had more

I started this movie only because of the book « ball peen hammer - Lauren Rowe » mentioning it non-stop. and because I loved the book, it seems that I had higher expectations for this one, it was good, nonetheless. but not catchy enough if we forget about all the naked men in it.
Andrew Gooder is "meh" onMagic MikeI mean, it’s a movie about male strippers so it’s really not my type of movie, but for what it’s worth, I’ll say that it wasn’t horrible. I watched it because of my girlfriend, I know, a little curious lol, but the acting was good. This just appeals more to others than me. 6.5/10

Almost as impressive as Tatum's moves are his comic flair and breezy grace. He proved his comic talents earlier this year in 21 Jump Street and shows them off winningly here.

If it falls short of greatness, it's not by much - and it could end up growing with the years. At the very least, it is exceptional and one of the best and most original pictures to come along in 2012.

Magic Mike slowly degenerates into a simplistic cautionary fable. I didn't see that coming from a sharp observer like Soderbergh.
