Atom User Reviews for Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
Such a sweet family movie! Just to let all the parents and care givers out there know, you have nothing to worry about with Lyle, Lyle Crocodile! So many movies made for children now are filled with unnecessary and controversial subject content not suitable for kids. This is pure innocence, joy, redemption, courage, and just plain fun. Everything a kid's movie should be! The boy at the center of the movie is so endearing and dynamic, you can't help but root for him! A movie you can take the whole family to see!
Good clean kid friendly story without an alternative agenda. Just entertainment for the family!
Took our 2 oldest grands (aged 4 and 5). They sat through it, totally immersed in the story and action. Both laughed out loud at appropriate antics and clapped at the end. Highly recommend!
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a move that exceeded its trailer.. but this one definitely did. It was adorable, sweet, funny, wholesome, & just fun for all of us. We loved it. My kids are 7 & 9. They both loved it & the 9 year old said it’s her favorite movie. I loved it because it was heartwarming and I wasn’t constantly on edge wondering which controversial topic I was going to have to explain to the kids in the car. Perfectly safe, no language, nothing graphic, & no controversies of any kind. Parents, you can relax here! Definitely take the kids. It’s worth it.
Such a good family film! Doesn't matter if you're a kid or not. It's such an adorable and wholesome film. Teared up when he finally sang ❤️
good family fun instead of all this violence and sexuality you see in most movies
Very Good Movie !!!!! Took my 10 year old Grandson. We both thought it was great
it was so funny, beautiful and out of this world. even though I'm not a big fan of 🐊, he could definitely sing.
Lyle and Loretta were the stars of the show. All the actors were mediocre it was annoying I haven’t seen bad acting in a while! I feel like the point of this movie was to show Shawn Mendez songs lol no clear point. Lyle and Loretta were funny, entertaining, and the only characters that saved this movie.
I enjoyed the movie
Personally I think it was the worst movie ever. It was too much singing, the trailer was complete opposite from the story line of the movie. There was those funny moments but each time you see the crocodile it just sang songs. I was there and notice some children were getting bored from the movie. They would play around (I didn’t mind it was an empty theater) not even watching the movie when the singing started.
Great movie. From start to finish. A lot of laughter, sadness and happy ending!
My younger son 7 years old loved it
Super cute and fun great story
Got to be a little long at the end but a well made movie. 👌
So so…. Kinda weird.
love Lyle💜❤️🧡💙💛🤍 fun
Great movie! Unexpectedly amazing!
We all loved this movie, adults included!
Fun movie. great songs and story.
Too the reviewers saying it is boring they are so wrong. It was a delight. Shawn Mendez was awesome and the music the highlight of the movie. I would watch it again and again. My 4 year old niece was dancing to the music. She loved it. It is definitely for the family. Go see it for yourself.
It’s a sweet film that hits all of its modest targets and works largely because it avoids vapid pop culture references and ironic humour that would be out of date within a month of release.
While not enough to sell Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Bardem’s mission to out-cartoon his animated scene partner (admittedly not difficult) still feels like a blow struck for old-school flesh-and-blood eccentricity in the age of blah digital cutes. May that battle continue.
Along with a few bouncy numbers from “The Greatest Showman” duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Bardem is the driving force behind “Lyle,” and the train loses major steam without its kooky conductor.
