Not your average love story. I certainly hope that some eyes are opened when they see this movie. Your loved ones are still your loved ones, who they love doesn't change that one bit. ♡
I believe it is a real story. One that everybody knows one guy / girl / person /Human went through. Miss she if y'all like a good feely nostalgia amazing film like The Fault in Our Stars with one on point topical humor.

Excellent movie!
this was a great movie. the slight changes from the book were ok because it allowed the movie to bring in some extra laughs. Totally enjoyable.
Absolutely amazing!
I really enjoyed this movie. Reminded me of the old coming of age John Hughes movies.
Amazing movie. Left me feeling inspired and free. Made me look at life differently.
Great movie about friends love and coming into your own! Great little surprise ending!!!
This movie is so important. If this movie was around 15 years ago, it would've helped my friends my family and especially me when I came out. This movie will help so many people today! It's a beautiful story of a young man wanting to breath again and wanting everyone to know he is still the same person. This movie is perfect!
Hands down, one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. Definitely one that will go down as one of the best of 2018. This was a feel good for all genders, ages, and sexualities!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Disaster Gay The Movie ™
Wish I could have provided free copies of the book at my screening. But of course I'm broke but if LGBTs could just hold onto this film and novel that would be awesome. This movie was awesome.
It was cool
Love the movie. Amazing meaningful I can relate
Best movie of 2018!!!!!
Fun movie but somewhat realistic, wish there would have been more love aspects as well
Gay
An innovative story with realistic portrayal of gay characters and their relationship to the straight folks. Sadly, the story suffers from a need for major script polishing (dialogue, situation) and film editing (so many throw-away plot points and subplots that distract and draw focus from the story.) Best actor: Talitha Bateman as Simon's little sister, Nora; she's got the potential for a great career. The character to be most pitied: Leah (Katherine Langford.) She was the most injured victim in this psychic car crash and no one even bothered to drag her body off the road. Poor Leah.
This movie is beautiful. It handles coming out, relationships, and bullying well. There are moments it will make you cry, make you proud of the protagonist, and bring you joy. It's a must see!
Absolutely love this movie. This is my fifth time seeing it.
Amazing and beautiful movie
I loved the movie so much. I cried.
I think there will always be some parts to coming out and first loves that will never change with time. This story captures that experience for a new generation.
loved it

This movie was amazing. I loved it!
It was a great movie. A little different than the book but it was great otherwise. Very endearing movie. ❤❤❤
captured a lot of the lgbt experience in a way that creates empathy. loved the details of the movie. ending is a bit cheesy haha but that's ok
Great film.
I literally cried????
Metacritic
Well-made and likable, without any major missteps. It’s also just a little bland.
The word that best fits it as a comedy, a romance and a coming-of-age story is “innocuous.” It’s just that at this point in history, after Neil Patrick Harris, after “Glee!,” “innocuous” doesn’t feel like enough.
