Was Bill Murray’s small role as a masochist with a dentist kink necessary in this movie? No. Am I glad it was included? Yes.

as much as i loved audrey and seymour, audrey II is a real musical legend and the definition of a problematic fave

Rachel RhodesI've always championed this as the one movie adaptation of a musical that actually improved upon the original stage version, but after rewatching it for the first time in forever, I'm not so sure that's true. I think I was just taken in by the best puppet effects ever put…

So fun and silly but also serious at points but mostly still silly. I love the cast and the songs are really great and funny of course. Definitely suggest going in blind if you want to watch cos I really did not know much especially what the plant’s deal was lmao loved it 🌵🪴🌾

this & grease were the first two musicals I remember loving- all performances are great- the music and moments are so iconic and memorable- I think this is lower end of my loves, but still think it deserves a shoutout- truly a classic, real, musical- while still feeling personal
Why is this movie actually good? I watched it because I just thought from the trailer the effects looked really good for that time, and I was mainly looking forward to seeing Bill Murray in another movie, which he only appeared in briefly unfortunately. Even the songs are great!
one of the greatest musicals that i’ve ever seen simply because it’s a total vibe and never cringeworthy. pure campiness and fun, full of energy with immaculate practical effects and performances, a super enjoyable thrill ride with emotional beats and enough variety for anyone

LSoH musical score is one to cherish & laugh while witnessing the horrors on a gardening shop on Skid Row. While it performs correctly as a musical, it’s cinematography however, goes above & beyond with his special effects. An amazing experience with charming characters.
I loved this! The vocals were amazing and I liked Rick Moranis's acting (he's such a cutie 🤭). The plant was hilarious and I hated the doctor but I think that's just how his character is meant to be and Audrey is such a doll, we must protect her at all costs.

The Little Shop of Horrors is a thoroughly original adaptation, if that's possible. With its toe-tapping cadences, its class cast and its king-sized cabbage, it's destined to become a classic of camp comedy. It's vege-magic.
This is the kind of movie that cults are made of, and after Little Shop finishes its first run, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it develop into a successor to Rocky Horror Show, as one of those movies that fans want to include in their lives.
This is the kind of charming motion picture that can be viewed repeatedly without ever wearing out its welcome. With several triumphant musical numbers, an original villain, a smart and witty script, a cute romance, and a new, upbeat ending, this Little Shop of Horrors offers countless delights during its 94-minute running time.
