Synopsis
It’s AD 30 and everyone is expectantly awaiting the coming Messiah. While Jesus isn’t exactly what they imagined, there is something special about this man. Soon, John, James, Andrew, Peter, and their new friends begin to follow Jesus on an unexpected adventure. My first film credit! I am so immensely proud of the art team and all the hands that worked on this film! Seeing it as a finished piece, being able to celebrate three years of hard work together was incredibly special. As one of the directors said after the screening (I'm…
ktsungSep 8, 2025This is the third time I’ve seen Jesus story told in theaters this year and the second time I’ve seen it animated. I’ll give this one props for at least having nice looking 2D animation but please for the love of god stop retelling Jesus story. I swear if there’s a 4th time…
🏳️⚧️💕Belle Forger💕🏳️⚧️Sep 4, 2025Actually... pretty good? A faith based film that's actually enjoyable? Color me shocked! For those unaware, this is a film made by two former Disney animators, Tony and Tom Bancroft, who are best known for directing Mulan together. Having left Disney many years ago and been…

🔙Treasure Planet🔙 🔜The Conjuring: Last Rites🔜 Read Time: 4mins Intro: I don't think I've made this clear enough in my past reviews, but I consider myself a person of faith. I've always been one ever since I was a young child. But even though I believe in God, pray to…
BenStuartSep 6, 2025This year gave us two animated takes on the life of Jesus, both told through the eyes of children—Light of the World from the perspective of John, Jesus’s youngest apostle (who, based on historical and cultural evidence, was probably in his mid to late teens when he…

God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, so whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life 🤍 John 3:16
DietherOrozcoSep 5, 2025Man, I miss 2D animation. I really enjoyed this, both this and King of Kings both gave a fresh and unique perspective on the life of Jesus. I think I need to go watch Prince of Egypt now.

My mom & I went to see Light of the World, & the whole time we laughed & cried. God touched us so tenderly as we watched, glued to the screen, I know He was honored through every scene. We loved every minute. The animation of the story of Jesus was beautifully & masterfully done. The theatre was empty, but God’s presence filled that auditorium. I highly encourage everyone at any age — GO SEE THIS MOVIE. Jesus will meet you there. ❤️
A great film for children and adults to learn who Jesus is and how He loves us!
