Atom User Reviews for Labyrinth (1986) - Fan Celebration 2018
Does this even need a review... I mean, it's Labyrinth...
The best movie ever! Seeing it on the big screen was a wonderful experience and definitely one I won’t forget.
David Bowie and Jim Henson nuff said.
Best movie 🎥 ever. I love ❤️ David Bowie, I am so glad I got to see this on the big screen again. Miss you David Bowie!!
I love this movie just as much as I first did at the theater in 1986 when I was 16. I was already in love with Bowie years prior, and always will be. Will go see it on screen every chance I get.
Wore my Labyrinth shirt and sang and laughed my heart out. Such a damn great movie! Thank you for allowing us all to see it on the big screen! Also-one of my favorite storytellers!!! Thanks for that! Wish the new featurette was also viewed instead of a small intro by Jennifer Connolly. We all can't get enough content!! Thank you!
Adored getting to see it on the big screen. All fans must experience it at least once. Wish more superfans like myself had been there so we could’ve done a group sing a long lol.
My girls and I are huge fans. None of us had ever seen it on he big screen. It was wonderful and the somgs coming out of the theater speakers instead of at home was an epic experience! Totally reccomend it to every Bowie fan!
Love this movie it was great to see on the big screen and catch things you miss on a TV like the milk jugs on the porch of the castle. Only slight complaint would be the short film before the movie. we were not expecting it and the littles lost interest as it was a little older story line.
I've always loved Labyrinth! And grew up listening to David Bowie and Magic Dance!
So happy to see it on the big screen, since I didn't exist back in '86. The Escher scene was AMAZING to see on such a big canvas. Thank you for re-releasing this movie!
I brought two adults that had never seen the film and are both David Bowie fans. The only words they could whisper were "He is SO hot."
One of the most amazing movies. I swooned for Bowie and sobbed due to cuteness tons of times. You won’t want the movie to end because you’ll miss the characters too much! Love you Ludo, Hoggle, Goblin King, Sarah, Sir Didymus, and Ambrosia!
One of my favorite movies, despite being younger than it is. Total treat to be able to watch it on the big screen, and a wonderful surprise to be treated to an episode of The Storyteller beforehand!!!
Love seeing Labyrinth on the big screen again! Awesome!
The theater was disgusting. They obviously did not clean between showings. Half the soda machines were out of ice or sodas, then 1/2 an hour after the movie was supposed to start, they told us the projector wasn't working and they could not play the movie. Then AMC wouldn't give us a refund because we bought the tickets through Atom. Total waste of time and money.
What kind of magic spells to use... Three generations went to see this together even though we own the VHS and both DVDs cause theres nothing like awesomeness in the theater. We love it!
Love it from back in the day!!
Bowie forever!
I loved being able to see it on the big screen! I also loved taking my nieces to see it on the big screen too! They loved it!
Had a great time! Being a younger fan, I never got to see it in theater. Experiencing it on the big screen was great. Seeing an episode of the Storyteller was really cool beforehand. I wish more super fans were in my theater so we could have had a group sing along!
My favorite movie of all time! Amazing!
Great memories for me and the family.
Wonderful movie from the master of Muppets. I took away one star because the theater projector could have used a new bulb. Film was a little bit dark, but watchable.
Best movie ever, so awesome on the big screen
It was a dream come true to see Labyrinth on the big screen! Bowie’s voice, glitter I hadn’t noticed before, and oh that Goblin King smirk. I laughed, I cried, I never wanted it to end. I do hope they hold this event again. My friends and I are definitely repeat customers!
Loved this movie before and love it even better now.
One of the best films of my childhood. A magical music staring and amazingly talented man!
Love watching David Bowie and anything but Jim Henson. This is such a wonderful movie took my grown children we use to watch it all the time in the were kids.
Saw labrynth opening day in 1986 with grams, it was awesome to see it on the big screen again with my daughter and some friends!
Love the film! Lots of new scenes. Great audio restauración. Only bad was the lack of the after movie extras promised at the beginning..... IT NEVER SHOW ANYTHING, they kick us out. Regal said their was nothing after the film.
Totally worth it! I went for guilty pleasure but left shameless and justified.
Loved this then, and still do.
Even after seeing this hundreds of times, I still see things I’ve never noticed before. I think the big screen helped❤️
Brings back memories seeing it at the drive in 1986 was a Magical year.
Wonderful!!
This film is the real reason why I love David Bowie in the first place.
Awesome movie loved seeing it on big screen!
Of course we liked the movie or we wouldn't have spent the extra money for a Fathom Event. However, the short film shown before the feature movie was disturbing since it wasn't expected and my granddaughter was scared. She loves Labyrinth but did not like the other feature.
My daughter is in love with this movie. So taking her to see it on the big screen was so worth it!
This has always been one of my favorite movies. I was super excited to get to see it on the big screen. Thank you for this wonderful nostalgic experience. 💖 The only change I would make to the evening was the showing of The Storyteller before Labyrinth. When watching the retrospect of Jim Henson and the puppets etc., you are led to believe that it was going to be shown after the movie. So when it came on first it was a little confusing. Also, it took away from the excitement of getting to see Labyrinth because we had to wait that much longer.
Still one of the most creative films ever made. A wonderful uniquely '80s rendition of a Wizard of Oz-like tale, with the best use of puppetry I've ever seen.
Awesome, love this movie!
One of my favorite movies growing up and NOW my children's favorite!
Fantastic!
Always love seeing this movie! Hope to see it again on the big screen.
been even better had it started on time
Excellent movie. Highly recommended.
Fabulous film. I've adored it since childhood, and I introduced my child to it who also loves it. Which is why I decided to take my five-year-old to see it in the theater. She enjoyed it immensely, but did NOT enjoy the 25 minute pre-show that we were not informed about ahead of time! It was highly inapproporate for a five-year-old. Next time, a little heads up, please!!! We still loved and enjoyed the Labyrinth.
Was so great to see this on the big screen!
