Synopsis
Based on the bestselling novel from Nobel Prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro and written and directed by Academy-Award® winner Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit), Klara and the Sun introduces audiences to Klara (Jenna Ortega), an Artificial Friend who wants nothing more than to find the perfect home. When Klara meets Josie (Mia Tharia), each immediately senses a kindred spirit in the other. Josie has a fraught relationship with her mother (Amy Adams) and they’ve suffered great loss, but Klara’s innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty begin to heal the family and bring light to Josie’s complicated world.

the part where Klara goes on to describe how Ricky and Josie no longer had the same goals, but loved each other regardless, then going on to say they may one day meet again like the Raincoat Man and the Coffee Cup Lady broke my heart ৻ꪆ ×̷̷͜×̷

i actually found this quite an enjoyable and cute watch, not a lot of emotion in there i felt the acting could have used some work, not from jenna tho she’s amazing as usual, but a pretty easy watch and the ending was wholesome.
Taylor Underwood dislikedKlara and the SunThis movie was predictable and moved way too slow for my taste. Tried too hard to be edgy with a deep message. I’d say pass and wait for streaming.
