Liam FitzgibbonJun 28, 2021This is a totally by-the-numbers, schlocky but engaging 90s detective thriller with corny serial killers, elevated by a measured performance from Morgan Freeman. And that scene of Freeman shooting through a carton of milk was badass.

If there's one thing serial killers enjoy as much as stalking, abducting, torturing, collecting and ritualizing, it's doing analog collages with newspapers. Truly evil art.

Worst placement for an aquarium I've seen in my entire life. Freeman and Judd are good but the cinematography and the editing are absolutely hellish. Also I figured out who the killer is the second that actor showed up. 📝Films to watch while we wait for The Batman

Hunter likedKiss the GirlsA real good thriller. Perspectives from both the detective and a escaped victim. Freeman and Judge both were great. Definitely didn’t see the twist coming, had me guessing on who it was. Haven’t seen an Alex Cross story before, but I’ll have to start looking for them!

Saw it in ‘97 with my then girlfriend, now wife. I recall it being fine, but kind of underwhelming. If you’re a fan of true crime and 90s era films, go wild, but I’d wager that Netflix has a superior series on a similar theme.
