The special effects in this movie are the real eighth wonder of the world.
Ian WestNov 19, 2021Really disappointing that an otherwise enjoyable movie about how women should not be on boats suddenly becomes about giant monkey! Sad!

Very interesting movie and the fact that it’s 90 years old and still watchable is pretty amazing. The effects are also very impressive for being 90 years old.
It’s so impressive how they made this picture in the 30s. The effect was really cool and it is absolutely one of cinema’s most important films.
