Atom User Reviews for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
too long
Not as fun as I expected it to be.
sound track great filming was amazing must see
Like that Excalibur gets more if a story and Charlie Hunam was awesome.
Great Movie, Guy Ritchie keeps it fast paced and great CGI. Ignore the bad reviews given by Roger Ebert and Rotten Tomatoes.
loved it! action pack must see
OMG it was so amazing and awesome to watch
not really worth 3D but good movie
wow
loved this movie
Too much magic!!!!
Expecting more action
Not sure why they had to have cursing in it. And the fight scenes were sometimes so unclear and blurred and too close too much debris flying to know what was actually happening. I really enjoyed it though. Good movie.
Holy moly I didn't think I'd enjoy this too much going in but I freaking loved this movie. No it's not perfect but it's such a fun ride from beginning to end!!!
The Lion King set in the Game of Thrones universe, with some very recognizable (and likable) Snatch cuts. Can't wait to see it again!
great camera angles mediocre movie
Had me at the edge of my seat the whole time.
saw this because the showtime worked the best for me and it was surprisingly the best movie ove seen this year
This had a lot of slow mo and misdirection which lost me several times.
Expected much more from this movie.
Not as good as I was hoping to be, it was a not as bad as the reviews either,
Charlie Hunnam is incredible...and so sexy!!!
Whole different take on the story. I enjoyed it
The story may be nothing to write home about, but the directing was done fantastically.
Terrible movie
It gave me a newfound appreciation for the tale of King Arthur and the Sword. Some parts are cringe-y, but the modern twist of the film-style overshadows that mishap. There's a lot of action but not too much morbidity. The action scenes were pretty epic.I like the director's style of work in general - Guy Ritchie directed the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downing Jr. and also the film, Snatch. Something I was not expecting was how many good actors are in this film! I recommend it!
Very original and great spent time
Thought it would have touched a little more on the myth, but still a great movie and an interesting twist on an old tale. If you like action, it's got plenty. Charlie Hunnam makes a great King Arthur!
Awesome movie with great visual effects
I want there to be more movies because the world needs more movies like this to forget about what is happening to people in Are world today
awesome movie. it's a must see!!!!
This is as gnarly as 300...or more so
This King Arthur interpretation is GQ stylish. Guy Ritchie's flair of quick cut exposition without any dialogue is as fluid as ever. Great characters and pacing. The action is well done and the score is AWESOME.
Interesting twist on the original tale, though predictable in its events. Some of the witt reminds me of Princess Bride, which is nice downtime from the high-speed, dizzying violence.
Not terrible, but not good either. Slow miving.
AWESOME!!!!!!
Great cast it kept me enthralled the entire time
open minds will have a great time ...G.Richie did a great job directing this time piece. Attention to detail helped the flow with a twist of modern humor
Great Guy Richie film ! If you enjoyed his Sherlock movies you'll enjoy this !!
very long.
Not 5 stars...ALL of the stars in the sky!
This was a fun cool twist on an already known story.
Loved it...
This is just a fun film go see it, ignore the critics
pretty dang good.
AMAZING
I fell asleep!
Charlie hunam is a boss
"F" bomb out of place in this movie! Otherwise good action film and take on King Arthur.
great special effects.
Metacritic
Somehow hectic and lumbering, diverting and dispiriting all at once, this mud-toned medieval pulp largely cleaves to the spirit of Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” series, reducing a fabled figure of British lore to two hours of tough-guy swagger and head-pounding digital thwackery.
Arthur and Vortigern mix it up amid a lot of shenanigans, detours and filler, some bad, some good and all of it disposable.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword isn't a movie as much as a feature length montage of bastardized lore and rejected Game of Thrones pitches.
