Movie was what was meant to be expected! Entertainment from the beginning to end. The cast did amazing with their roles. Definitely feels like the movie is part of the Karate Kid universe.

Yo! Being a child born in 90 when I saw this in KidCo at the Beginning of the Power Ranger craze was a perfect storm For my love for martial arts and the Karate Kid universe. Great movie awesome way to blend the new and old. 10s across the board!

I rated this movie a B+ or 4 out of 5 stars. The reason I didn’t gave this movie a 5 is because it was missing the “wow” factor.
A fun movie, very nostalgic in many ways, which is nice, but a thin and predictable script. Those who watched the first Karate Kid in 1984 will appreciate it, more because of Ralph Macchio. But youngsters will likely enjoy the Jackie Chan vibe. And the young actor Ben Wang…

Well written, meaningful, action mixed with humor, emotionally gripping and engaging, true to the original scripting and movie personality mixed with a bit of modern-day plot (Cobra Kai).
It was alright. The plot was very predictable. The best part of the movie was the banter between the two masters

The secret weapon, though, is dimpled star Ben Wang, the 25-year-old lead in the Disney+ series American Born Chinese.
There is at once a roughshod, zippy energy coupled with a sedateness here that results from the simple fact that the film never quite knows how to square the pure awkwardness of two teachers — two stars from different eras of a franchise — instructing a karate kid at once.
