Atom User Reviews for Juror #2
Great thought provoking movie. Well done. Good work Clint Eastwood and all actors.
Enjoyable and is a decent plot but it drags on.
the movie is a cross between 12 Angry Men and The Killing. it's a fun watch with some intentional and unintentional funny moments but lacks some emotional depth to be able to connect with the characters. still, I would rate this an A movie and worth a watch

Eastwood’s unhurried gaze allows the characters’ humanity to shine through. His style might be simpler, but his generosity as a filmmaker, his willingness to embrace the complex and the open-ended, has never been more evident. Juror No. 2 is a fine entry in a great director’s career.

A throwback character study that invokes the kind of mid-budget hits that kept the lights on at Warner Bros. for 50 years, Juror #2 both enriches our understanding of the Hollywood icon who made it and stands on its own as one of the best studio films released in 2024.
As always, Eastwood respects our intelligence. And yet, Juror No. 2 registers as something of an anomaly in his oeuvre: It ranks among his quietest films, forgoing spectacle in favor of self-reflection.
