Brendan Fraser punching that carnivorous fly trap right in the thrussy was the kind of boundary-pushing, bar-raising, trend-setting imagery that 2000's cinéma needed, AND deserved.

Not remotely surprised to learn that 4DX was invented for this movie (really wish I saw it that way, probably way more fun)

This is another one of my top 10 favorite films from my childhood and it’s still one I’ll watch. Brendan Fraser is just one of the best people to watch and them replacing him in the second film is still super upsetting.

A lot of people really hated on this movie when it first came out but honestly I liked it. I expected it to be terrible since that’s what most of the reviews said but it wasn’t. I also don’t take movies so seriously, it’s just a movie. Recommend if you are a Brendan Fraser fan!

Journey to the Center of the Earth

It isn't a magnificent story and certainly doesn't have the best CGI, even for the time it was filmed, but Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson bring so much carisma to their performances that makes it enjoyable

I watched this when I was a kid. Don’t remember it much but I remember liking it. I watched it with my dad when he was still around and we both enjoyed it thoroughly. Will never forget these great memories.

2.5/5 - was just fine; the design for the centre of the world was cool, but the graphics have not held up well unfortunately. Josh Hutcherson & Brendon Fraser were the only reason I watched really

It would be barely passable under normal circumstances, but in 3-D it's a circus of excellent FX.
