Great film. 95% of people won’t comprehend it, and that’s the true tragedy here.

Basically highschool musical but with the joker

I fell asleep 😴 multiple times, too much singing.

This movie brought so many emotions.. Anger, sadness, disgust, and anger again. Those are the feelings that I felt for myself paying money to watch a high school musical in Dolby Cinema.

First of all, I LOVE musicals and I LOVED the first Joker. I love his darkness and madness. I really hoped Lady Gaga could bring a fantastical element to Joker and she could elevate the story in a different way than the first film. I saw the reviews from everyone complaining about the singing. I was looking forward to it! but this was such a letdown... The entire movie is the trial?? I wanted Harley Quinn and Joker to rule the city! I wanted to see them with their mafia! Full madness, full glory! No such luck.. This just left you wanting more. Best scene was the violent courtroom dream. Bummer

This movie could have done better, by not making it a musical. My main complaint is Harley Quinn, casting Lady Gaga is a mistake and poorly written character.

It’s a great story if you go in it without expecting to see anything about THE joker. It’s a great movie if you look at it as A joker movie and Arthur being the inspiration for THE joker down the road that fights batman( as there is a 30 year difference between Bruce and Arthur). Some songs felt unnecessary but the rest were great. The message was expertly conveyed from the 1st and 2nd movie. Ending could be better!

The storyline falls short, but the acting and cinematography are excellent. While I loved the plot of the first movie, this one doesn’t bring anything new to the table and moves at such a slow pace that you could fall asleep for 30 minutes and not miss a thing. The ending is controversial, but if you’re a true Batman fan, you’ll understand the concept.

It was good story just the musical threw me off but it was still a good suprise with some good songs 🤡

I hated the ending so much and don’t even get me started on the singing every 10 minutes , they literally ruined such a good character but oh well.

It was ok. It was a musical for sure, i also see where they were trying to go with it but not really worth ticket price. I wish it was less musical and more to the point the music made it feel like half the movie was wasted.

To quote the great Simon Cowell, Joker 2 was “absolutely dreadful”.

So history has shown that not every idea is a good one; that being said umm that was a choice.

Even if such a proposition didn’t quite work out it would surely be the right sort of failure. Maybe a gloriously camp Jailhouse Rock. As it happens, we have ended up with a drab affair that never gets properly started.

For nearly two and a half hours, director Todd Phillips’ pathologically unnecessary movie cycles through so many potential reasons to exist. But, as “Deux” grows increasingly disturbing, repulsive and strange on the hunt, it ultimately never finds a satisfying one.
