Just another proof that siblings dynamics in movies are WAYWAYWAYWAYWAY better than couple dynamics in horror films

This movie is a classic. I bought this when it came out many years ago. It’s a different story with a different monster. Great film.

every action the main characters made in this movie made me clench my fists and grind my teeth together til they turned to dust. they were sooo slow to react to every bad situation they were in, no critical thinking skills whatsoever. barely made it through the movie

What it lacks in studio-level finesse it more than makes up for with unrelating imagination and a creepily visceral punch.

If you can separate the art from the artist, then this movie is amazing hands down.

The story (what there is of it) doesn't make much sense, but this is a very scary horror thriller that should keep you either on the edge of your seat or halfway under it.
