I have to say...this is not as good as Jaws 1
Patrick WillemsJun 1, 2013I think we've got another shark problem. -Martin Brody With Jaws being the first summer blockbuster, it's appropriate that Jaws 2 is one of the first examples of a cash grab sequel. It stars an actor that was contractually forced to do the film, co-stars the studio's…

@Mr. Like🔥🔥🔥Apr 13, 2021We're gonna need a better script We're gonna need a braver director We're gonna need a brighter co-star We're still gonna need a bigger boat There are so many things wrong with this I'm not sure where to start, and yet it somehow works as an easy to process…
GrahamAug 1, 2021A drop in quality was to be expected without Spielberg's involvement, but Jaws 2 is actually a lot better than it has any right to be. I was really surprised how much tension it was able to build; most of the shark action had me on the edge of my seat. Good stuff!

Pacing was a bit off, but still enjoyable. There’s no way the shark can come back for a third film… right?

THErealBatMar 16, 2026Finally getting around to the Jaws sequels. I may have seen them when I was very you, but really have no recollection of them at all. I've been meaning to start them after I watched the 50th anniversary of Jaws last year, but just never picked them. Well, finally that…

There was reason to believe that "Jaws 2" would be a mess. It isn't. It's better than most sequels. It's formula-ridden but slick, and the special effects work as intended.
Another great jaws movie. When I saw the main actor kill A SECOND GREAT WHITE, I set me in a shock, one man two sharks (over time of course) MAN WINS!!!

Definitely not as good as the first one but that’s to be expected. The original jaws can’t be topped. Though I will say that the suspense throughout the film was really good and there were multiple parts that had me at the edge of my seat. But I think 2 is enough for me and won’t be watching the…
"White Collar" on Netflix is a captivating show that masterfully blends drama, mystery, and humor. The dynamic between con artist Neal Caffrey and FBI agent Peter Burke is compelling. Each episode offers clever heists and intriguing plots. A must-watch for fans of crime dramas!!!

I loved the idea of Brody facing lingering consequences rather than a clean victory. Still, I kept wishing Hooper returned to help him. What frustrated me most was the town officials again refused to accept the threat until it’s too late. Watching history repeat itself.
Jaws 2 clearly is a step down from the original. It isn't void of any entertainment but it's very few and far between. It just locks the heart of the original and the characters lack that bite the first cast had. Best way I can describe it is safe and forgettable.
