Synopsis
Reminiscing about his dead son, a Vietnam War veteran attempts to uncover his past while suffering from a severe case of dissociation. To do so, he must decipher reality and life from his own dreams, delusions, and perceptions of death.

DirkHThe scene where Tim Robbins suddenly holds up a polaroid photo of Macaulay Culkin, who was not in the movie at all prior to that point, and begins hysterically weeping, was my favorite part, out of context.

It was like watching a surreal painting come to life, only it’s a painting of deception, paranoia, trauma, love and war all wrapped into one. The ending was certainly a breath taking moment for me, well made movie and superb acting!
