im SHOOK.....posting this from my smart phone so clearly didnt learn my lesson
Glorying suicide because of social media. Not a great ending for today's young generation BUT everything before that was funny.
Great film not your typical cookie cutter blockbuster
it was really good
Sometimes social media enables our own personality flaws and wishing for online friends that are not real
Unlike any other.
bizarre but interesting
Thought Aubrey plaza was great in this, it honestly shows how much we rely on social media versus knowing the real person.
Basic
Very cool. Little dark but delightfully so. #squadgoals
Metacritic
The movie is an inventive and shrewd satire of the way social media can be used to describe and distort the lives of users.
It’s a forgettable film, but what it says about the debilitating effect of technological abuse is sickening enough to make you think twice about upgrading your smartphone.
The film manages to look at its characters with empathy and understanding, while simultaneously refusing to endorse their actions. And because of that, Matt Spicer’s directorial debut proves to be one of the more successful takes on the social media generation to hit the silver screen.
