AJun 11, 2021Someone decided to spend tens of millions (hundreds of millions?) of dollars on this and it is not remotely clear why based on the finished product. This movie made me as bored as Mark Wahlberg looks in every single scene.

It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t spectacular either. What passed as something with decent action and good performances also came with plot holes, bad pacing and mediocre writing. I didn’t feel connected with the characters and was lost at times. Its merely a decent watch. 7.3/10

It had an amazing cast however, I still felt like the acting was iffy. I think it mainly had to do with the script because it had a lot of amazing actors in it. It had a good plot but I feel as if it could’ve been executed better. Lots of logistics problems and movie magic ✨

Saint likedInfiniteI like the concept of the movie but the film itself didn’t live up to my expectations. Sophie Cookson delivered a lackluster performance. The audio seemed detached from the action. The cgi made it harder to watch. 6/10 off the strength of me liking the idea of movie.

The funny thing is, though, that it does somehow work despite its flaws. Its A-to-B propulsion added onto Maikranz’s environmental framework might be basic and familiar, but it gets us to the end without too much manipulation.

There’s nothing wrong with silly, even mindless action movies. There exists a whole slew of ’em that are an absolute blast to watch. But they get by on their entertainment value. There’s nothing entertaining about Infinite. It just sits there, lifeless, hoping to become a full-blown franchise with sequels galore.
