2 hours of watching your favorite artist destroy everything he built
Celebrities who show up before the ten-minute mark: Pharrell Williams, P. Diddy, Rihanna, Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens, Drake, and Lil Dicky. Swizz Beatz tells Ye his MAGA hat sucks, Michael Che drags him backstage at SNL for his infamous mid-credits rant, and Mr. West…
Ok play off the grid
Definitely feels like the original plan was to allow this Nico character to just grab a bunch of footage then later have a real director come in and make something of it. But at this point Kanye is so checked out he just let Nico use it for what is obviously his first real…
Charlie Kirk jumpscare
i feel like having the opportunity to film kanye west for around 6 years is such a layup that i am so appalled by how sub par this documentary is. it has no structure or direction and literally no message. there are parts where it is very entertaining but it drags on for so…
theres footage in this of Ye talking about what it’s like to be a bipolar artist while he’s dressed up like a blue dog man. it’s the Living With Michael Jackson of the 2020s.
Was there footage of him painted like a blue dog talking in the backseat of a car or am I going crazy
terrifying portrait of modern american fascism viewed through the lens of celebrity culture. you can gawk at the astonishing number of recognizable names and faces that appear in this (to name but one, charlie kirk shows up around the 15 minute mark and i almost screamed)…
This documentary showed the unraveling of a mentally ill kanye, its kind of scary seeing him go from 0 to 100 and throwing temper tantrums like a child. Its sad that his manic episode lasted as long as it did because no one could intervene before he ruined his career/life. 8/10
I’m not asking for your opinion I know I’m right
As a die hard Ye fan, this really helps see the creative process and life of a modern creative genius. I just wish Nico posted more footage that would’ve put Ye in a more positive light or just more footage in general since he admitted there was a lot more than just this film.
I love ye, feels like another person (Nico) just taking advantage of him as usual and getting content off of a bad place in his life.
It was good but someone more experienced or talented could have done a lot more with this footage and access
Interesting footage but the through line eventually went nowhere 6.5/10
güzel bir belgeseldi kanyeyi iyisiyle kötüsüyle anlamak için iyidi
This really helped my mum see how he treated everyone
I’m surprised he allowed someone to record this
Have a insight on why he does some of the things he do.
Must see because mental illness is real
