Atom User Reviews for Impractical Jokers: The Movie
I loved every bit of the movie. Worth every penny you spend on it. There was continuous LOL in the theater. Great outcome. Everyone (on and off screen) has done their best. THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE RELEASED WORLDWIDE. After all everyone deserves some good heartfelt laughter. This should and will go big time.
LOVE The Impractical Jokers. They are Super Funny and Incredible.
Impractical Jokers The Movie was great! I loved it! For those of you who are fans of the show, I would definitely recommend going to see this movie. You will get a kick out of it. Anyone who does not buy their ticket to see this movie will be tonight's biggest loser! And for their punishment, they will have to sit at home, wondering why they missed out on this movie while everyone else got to see it for themselves!
Too much fluff, tv show has the base of what’s funniest without the boring plot
Them boys had me in tears laughing so hard!
Do yourself a favor, wait for this to come out for free on Netflix/Hulu, then pat yourself on the back for saving $20... then kick yourself for waisting 2 hours. Stick to the TV series, the movie was not funny.
As a fan of the show, I was a disappointed that a half hour show on cable generates more laughs than this movie. There were laugh moments but they were far and few between. I don’t know if the movie was just trying to hard but I don’t think it worked. The worst part of the movie is the storyline that they wrote to keep the movie moving into a road trip. I would have just preferred the format of the show with some extended and possibly edgier challenges.
Fell asleep after 20 minutes. Slept pretty good though, woke up right at the end. Too much acting, not enough impractical jokers.
The originality of the TV show was lost in the movie. Furthermore, the plot stretched the content of a 20-30 minute show into a 2 hour movie with diluted content. These guys are hilarious and authentic in their shows, but they are not actors, and failed miserably in this movie. This was very boring... don’t waste your money
It was fairly rushed and they were not in the states they cared to apply. The road trip was a sham. During the scene where Sal meets and shows Jaden Smith his tattoo he’s suppose to be somewhere away in the south near the Midwest(forgot the state already) but it’s clear they are still in a warehouse in NY. The House of Vans which I’ve seen in person. The movie takes away originality had a chance to be something real and fun but it came up short of a road trip. Another lackluster. This is comedy should of kept to its roots. Stick to what you know
The tv series is funny but the movie is not as much. 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
After a bit of a slow start, it gets funnier and funnier. How Murr spends his evenings in his hotel room, the social media conference, the job interview, and the disabled car had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. And I loved all the cameos and Easter eggs, too. (See if you can spot Will Ferrell!) If you're a fan of IJ or love inside jokes and pranks with your friends, you definitely want to see this movie.
The amount of pranks they do in the movie is about the same amount as the 20 minute show and the rest is a painful story to sit through. Previews made the movie seem it was only going to be pranks.
Laughed so hard I cried!! 😂
its like Murry produced his 2nd movie. their not actors, their personalities, and they didnt stay in their lane.
Not enough jokes in this. Was one we really were looking forward to. major let down
Not that funny
This was a solid use of $8. I don't regret it; the IJ's areal great, and I definitely LOLed multiple times. If you're into them and their style of humor, I would recommend this.
Love these guys
If you like the show, you’ll love the movie.
Funny movie. Love The Tenderloins and the did not disappoint!
My husband and I loved it!!
Purchased this ticket because i wanted to watch “The Invisible Man” in IMAX. Which is expensive, so I sneak in to watch it
Lots of laughs!!
Absolutely hilarious!
Basically a big episode of the show.
must see
After a slow start the movie was epic... These guys take you away from your daily grind and give you lots too laugh about!
very funny, exactly what you expect from the jokers.
Metacritic
The script here is pure junk, running gags about balding Murr’s secret hotel “party” life and the like.
You don’t get entirely skilled comedy from the Impractical Jokers, but you do get to see four guys who have turned forcefully messing with each other into a welcoming, idea.
The gags are often better in theory than practice.
