Miranda likedIFI thought this was a good family movie. But I felt there could’ve been more to the storyline. There was things that needed to be explained more for things that make sense. But overall, it was still a fun movie to watch.

Steven Shapiro is "meh" onIF"IF" has enough heart to keep it afloat, but not enough to keep it from being a bland film. The direction doesn't feel particularly unique, the acting is serviceable, and the ideas are entertaining enough to keep you awake throughout the runtime. Good for kids, though. 5/10.

Not sure why they always have to kill one of the parents. Such a sickening way to begin a movie. Especially to cancer, watching this with my mom who is going through it was devastating. We almost walked out. This was NOT a kids movie Nor would I see it again.

When the film gets going in its tremendous third act, complete with a moving surprise that reconfigures the entire film, IF becomes a magnificently emotional experience, cathartic and enchanting in equal measure, and just the type of original idea we need more of on this scale at the movies.
