Seeing I Love Lucy, colorized, and on the big screen was AMAZING!! This should be a yearly event on Miss Ball’s Birthday!
Do some more
I’m so glad I went!
So fun! My eight year was giggling so hard she forgot to eat her candy.
Lo has a great night watching this special! I would love to see it in theaters again, with different episodes!
So fun to see and the coloration was fantastic!
Amazing! I’d watching it again!
So happy we went and on Lucy's birthday! Great family fun and laugh out loud funny!
This was perfect Event I took my mom to enjoy with me. I wasn't disappointed. It was perfect.
Cancelled at our theater technical issues
What a treasure!
Huge lucy fan, happy to see it on the big screen
I love Lucy! She is so beautiful and hilarious and the show would not be the same without Ricky, Ethel and Fred 😀
Had a fantastic time, will be at there when they do 5 episodes
The theater was evacuated after the first episode ☹ They thought there was a shooting in the mall thankfully it was a false alarm. The mall and theater was closed for the remainder of the night!
A special night
The movie was great. I took my daughter and her one year old so that we can continue to share the laughs with the next generation! Seeing Lucy in color was amazing and I appreciated the intro explaining how it was done. The caos at the theater that occurred when they decided to close the second theater was not acceptable. we had to change seats several times.
It allowed me to escape for a couple of hours and really LOL'ed!!!
They stopped it right in the middle of the last episode! Everyone was sitting there confused, waiting and hoping for it to come back on. Plus, we did not get a poster as promised. So upsetting!
So funny to see it in color.
Seeing the colorized episodes brought a new perspective to the original black and white This should be an annual event
Great night of laughs. Was not a big fan of the color going in, but after the intro explaining what went into it, I now have s different outlook. Would go to this every year!!
It was interesting to see how they were able to recreate the shows in color. Even though the black and white ones are the best, it was fun seeing them in color. I Love Lucy is one of my favorite shows. I wish they would show them more on satellite TV and during the day. They've had them on in the past but it was about 3:00 AM.
Definitely glad I got to go. To me it feels like I went to a historic moment. I don't find many things worth seeing in theaters, but this was totally worth it. I really appreciate the tremendous amount of thought and research that went into the colorizing
It was fantastic
My moms a huge fan and she had tears , of how amazed she was , we loved it ♥️
I loved seeing my favorite tv show on the big screen! I hope they do it with new episodes next year!
I love Lucy is older than me but I love it
A fabulous night with my best friend! We are nick-named "Lucy and Ethel", so it was a great way to celebrate our birthdays - girls night out - we even went character dressed!!! fun, fun night!!
I am only giving 4 stars not because of the episodes or their colorization but because the opening featurette, while very interesting, was a negative for the overall experience in two ways. For one, there were a number of kids there with their parents, and adding another episode length item to 5 episodes made it a pretty late night. But more so, while "Redhead Tales" will be great on the DVD release, especially the part that explains that Lucy herself would have support the colorization, it already included a lot of the "punchline" moments in the episodes to come, so when they actually did come on the screen, they sometimes gave the "I just saw that feel." I did appreciate noticing several things in the episodes that I had never picked out before, and of course, we are so grateful for Lucy, Desi, Vivian, Bill and all the crew for an undying legend. Thank you for doing this, Fantom.
It was great and amazing
It was awesome to see the work that went into colorizing the episodes. I wish a couple of the episodes had been different as they aren’t some of my favorite but still entertaining and as funny as I remember.
Had a great time with friends...we laughed the entire time. And, we really enjoyed the information from the producers at the beginning.
The information regarding the colorization was really interesting! The episodes were great. Only complaint......on the last episode, the theater cut in and played about 6 commercials!! The episode finally came back on, but it was uncalled for!!
AWESOME! More, please.
It was so fun to see how they transformed I love Lucy into color and then watch the episodes
Took my 19 year old daughter and 20 year old granddaughter who are also Lucy fans and they loved it
Beautiful colorization and very interesting behind the scenes featurette.
Would be 5 star but the sound mix was off and Desi was BLARING through the speakers. Other than that, great time, great fun.
I have been a Lucy fan most of my life!!! This was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! And well worth it!!! Everyone needs and deserves a good laugh.
Seeing I Love Lucy in color on the big screen was amazing!!! I've been watching I Love Lucy since I was little and seeing it this way made it seem so fresh and new.
Loved it!! Laughed so much! We hope it’s an annual event! The screen was off and the show started late, so they skipped all of the trivia. We were disappointed about that!
Loved it. Saw an episode I had never seen before. Hope this becomes a yearly tradition with different episodes.
Loved learning about the color details and the episodes were HILARIOUS!
Wonderful to see these episodes again and to introduce my son to one of the greats. Laughed so hard he dropped the popcorn
I couldn't believe the more details I was able to see by watching it with color. It was AMAZING! I loved it. She still makes me laugh!
Loved seeing Lucy on the big screen, was such a fun evening!!
So glad I went to see this! I Love Lucy in color was beyond beautiful ❤️
