I’m starting to think they make better trailers than films at this point. How to Make a Killing gives us nothing to connect to and no real reason to care about any of it. What it does show is how a person can talk themselves out of their own conscience, one choice at a time, until that voice gets…
7/10 How to Make a Killing had a pretty interesting concept with crime and family drama mixed together, but it doesn’t fully deliver. The pacing feels a bit slow, and it never gets as intense or crazy as you expect. There are some solid moments.
7.1 - Not bad but incredibly underwhelming. I had high hopes. I liked John Patton Ford’s Emily the Criminal, & expected that with a bigger budget & stacked cast, he could have done a lot more. Glenn Powell is not bad, but he’s improperly cast. This role needed a Chris Evans’s Ransom Drysdale type…

Ending and ending song saved it for me (kinda). And in a perfect world, maybe it could have ended differently… Yes. And in a perfect world, we do not live. Not a perfect film, but beautifully executed and great message. Knew all along that Julia’s a sociopath. Tho, not rlly Beck
How to Make A Killing is a film that it just fun to watch. It’s not something really that unique, it’s not making huge new strides in cinema but it’s just fun and that’s ok. Glen Powell knows how to make someone smile and enjoy themselves while watching a film.
Saw this at a secret cinema and had no idea what I was in for but it was a delight! Not the biggest Glen Powell fan but he fit this role well. A twisted comedy with some insufferable yet hilarious characters and true laugh out loud moments. Just absurd enough

An entertaining film with great pacing. This was a good film with a fun story, great cast, and funny comedic moments. I saw it more than a week early in a screening for Odeon Limitless members. It’s always great when they do that. Glenn Powell was great.
Conceptually, How to Make a Killing always sounded very interesting. However, I feared from the trailer it might border being silly, not to mention middling reactions overseas. Have to say though, I’m pleasantly surprised all around by this. The film starts a bit conventionally, setting the film…
It’s aight, little bit random at some points. It mirrors running man but at least running man was decently entertaining. Not saying I was bored by this movie but I just didn’t really care about it. It’s a shame, I thought there were some well shot scenes and it’s a cool concept but it was just…

EEEverliza EverlizaHad no idea and very much surprised how the ending turned out! Enjoyed the simplicity but twisted plotting throughout. Sadly sad and true that a psycho beauty can make a man's life so miserable. Wished that greed did not rule this world and ruin lives.
